Privacy
What we collect.
There are two things you can do on this site: join the waitlist, and send us a message. The waitlist form asks for your first name, last name, and email address. The contact form asks for those same three, plus what your message is about, the name of your company or brand if you have one, and whatever you write in the message box. That is all we keep. We do not ask for your mailing address, your phone number, or any payment information, because we are not selling anything yet.
What we do with it.
If you join the waitlist, we use your email address to tell you when Bug Babe is available and, once in a while, to share something we think you would actually want to know. If you write to us through the contact form, we use what you send to answer you and nothing else, unless you tick the box asking to hear from us, which adds you to that same email list. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are off the list for good.
Who else sees it.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Two companies handle it on our behalf: Squarespace, which hosts this site and stores the waitlist, and Google, whose reCAPTCHA service keeps spam bots out of the form. Both process that data under their own privacy policies. We do not run advertising pixels, analytics trackers, or any other third-party marketing tools on this site.
Cookies.
Squarespace sets a small number of cookies that keep the site working and count visits in aggregate. We do not use cookies to follow you around the internet.
Your choices.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@bugbabe.co and we will take care of it. If you live somewhere with specific privacy rights, such as California, the EU, or the UK, the answer is the same: write to us and we will honor your request.
Children.
This site is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
